make due, or do without

I just stuck my child's gift in a rubbermaid tote and wrapped the tote.  The Tornado wants a piggy bank and I bought the cute pink one at Target with a crown.  It's impossible to wrap without a box and I am officially out of boxes.  Several presents are just ugly wrapped with tons of tape.  Don't judge me, it's getting close and I'm tired of wrapping presents for seven kids.

I figured wrapping the gift in a rubbermaid tote was either

A) sad and pathetic.  Because even though it's in a box, it still looks ridiculous and you can tell it's a rubbermaid tote.

B) ingenious and very eco friendly.  I will let her unwrap this gift and then I will use it for something else.

So I'm going with b.  I thought I was done shopping for her, but the husband reminded me what she wrote on her school Thanksgiving table and I knew I had just one more thing to buy.

Because when you are that thankful for piggy banks, you should probably own one.

I am not the Queen of Christmas decorating/wrapping so it sounds good to me!

Oh, wrapping for seven kids!
You can take any short cut you want. Nobody would fault you for that.
Love that you remembered her piggy bank reference. With all you having going on, that's a real Christmas miracle. :)
