Three down, four to go

This boy got his driver's license today.  He's sort of camera shy.

Hands on the wheel, boy!  Ten and two!

This makes a total of three teenage boys on my auto insurance plan.  Which blows, by the way.  I'm looking at getting a job just to pay for the car insurance.  Speaking of insurance and blowing, we have a massive windstorm today and we just lost our back fence.  We have a crazy high deductible for wind and hail storms.  I hate insurance.

I hate insurance too and I don't even have that many boys. Don't know how you guys do it. Mine will be getting his permit next month. I already want to throw up.

Wow, I cannot imagine having that many boys on an insurance policy. My husband is an actuary and yet we still hate insurance too- sometimes. We especially hate it that most of the time we'll never use it even if something happens 'cuz they'll raise the darn rates up so ridiculously high. Dirty rats! But then of course I hope you never do need insurance for any of your kiddos because that would mean something bad happened. Yeah, insurance is kind of sucky all around...

Gee! Don’t say you hate insurance. Yes they might strain your budget at times, but at least the monthly premiums are way better than coughing up the costs for the extensive damages yourself. Having three of your children on the same policy? You can’t even claim that there won’t be any accidents. Even if your children are all responsible and safe drivers, you can’t be sure that there are all safe drivers on the road, right? Teenage drivers raise the cost as it is. Why don’t you ask your insurer for discounts?
